A Little About Me

My name is German Fernandez and I am 21 years old. I am a sophomore in my 3rd semester at Baruch College. Before transferring to Baruch, I attended NYIT in Old Westbury, L.I for a year. I intend to major in either Accounting or Finance and plan on leaving Baruch with a Master's Degree in one of the two. I currently work part-time as a Maitre'd (Head Waiter) in a catering hall known as Leonards of Great Neck. My job is to supervise and run events such as corporate dinner dances, weddings, and birthdays. Being that my job consists of me managing my staff for each party I run, I am interested in learning new techniques and strategies from this course to use in my work now as well as in the future. Aside from work and school, I am a big fan of soccer. I have been playing competitively since a young age and in the Fall, will be a member of the Baruch Men's Soccer team.
